About Us
Government Funding
Ridley Hall Montessori has been successful in their application to be accepted onto the pathfinder scheme. This is the new funding scheme for nurseries/parents that the government are implementing across the UK. The implementation is to be completed by 2010. However we at Ridley Hall have been given the opportunity to be part of this scheme a year early. Which means all children aged 3-4years will receive 15hours free education per week at Ridley Hall Montessori. Please speak to us about alternative childcare voucher schemes.
School Uniform
There is a Ridley Hall school uniform, together with a shoe bag, available to purchase. We will give you full details when you register your child.
Parents in Partnership
We welcome your participation at Ridley Hall and are keen for parents/carers to be involved in our nursery. We actively encourage ongoing communication, in addition to our initial meeting with you, so that we may continually ensure that your child’s individual needs are being met. We are always available at the beginning and end of each session to deal with any questions or queries you may have.
In addition to this informal communication we will also hold open days during the school year, including parents consultations. We will send out regular newsletters to keep you fully informed of plans for the nursery and details of the topics we are covering.
Child's Progress
An individual learning plan will be in place for your child, and a detailed record will be kept, which will be available and open for discussion throughout the school term. Your child will have a scrapbook recording in dated words, pictures and photographs your child’s progress, these are available in the classroom at all times. Finally, at the end of each school year we will have a formal parent consultation, this is when we will give you full details of your child’s progress.
If you wish to have a consultation outside of this period we will be happy to make a mutually convenient appointment.
